The Vermont Procurement Technical Assistance Center, in partnership with the Office of Senator Patrick Leahy and other agencies, is sponsoring “Making a Match: Where Business and Government Connect,” on March 6, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Conference Center in South Burlington.
This not-to-be-missed event features networking opportunities as well as practical training sessions. Vermont small businesses will have the chance to meet procurement and prime contractors as well as representatives from state and federal government agencies in a series of 10-minute one-on-one appointments.
Following the matchmaking session, a workshop on “Contracting with the State: Insurance Requirements 101” runs from 3:15 p.m to 4:00 p.m.
A networking reception the night before the day-long conference offers an opportunity for procurement professionals and small businesses to get an early start on introductions. That reception takes place on Wednesday, March 5, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm at the Sheraton Conference Center in South Burlington.
Businesses can register for this event and see a complete listing of confirmed exhibitors at http://www.vtsbdc.org/small-business-training-workshops/makingamatch.
