The Vermont Procurement Technical Assistance Center (VT PTAC) invites small business owners to attend a free workshop on selling to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The workshop, “Fundamentals of Selling to the Defense Logistics Agency,” will be held Friday, September 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in White River Junction, Vt.

This two-part workshop is essential to Vermont small businesses who are interested in selling products or services to the DLA. In the first segment, held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m, attendees will learn the basic process used by the DLA to procure products and services. The presentation will also cover the types of assistance that the VT PTAC counselors can provide, including identifying opportunities and providing guidance in becoming a DLA vendor or approved source.

The second segment, from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., is an in-depth workshop on the Defense Logistics Agency Internet Bid Board System. In this workshop, attendees will explore the web-based application that is used by the DLA to procure a variety of products and services.
